Victor Sjöström svéd nemzetésegű filmrendező, 1879. szeptember 20-án született Sillbodalban, Svédországban. Nagyon sokáig a legnagyobb svéd rendezőként tartották számon, illetőleg a legnagyobb hatásúként, bár ezt kétségbe sem lehet vonni. Sjöström, mikor még csak egy éves volt 1880-ban, családja New Yorkba költözött. Édesanyja 1886-ban sajnálatos módon elhunyt. Anyja halála után visszatért szülőföldjére, Svédországba, és Stockholmban telepedett le.... Több
